To Bring Discipleship Back to the Forefront of Our Lives and Ministries.
Encourage followers of Christ to engage in authentic and transparent relationships with other believers, specifically through one-on-one settings and micro-groups, so that discipleship and discipleship-making become a reality in their day-to-day lives.
Inspire local churches to establish a discipleship culture in all areas of their ministries through workshops and assisting in creating discipleship groups.
Come alongside church leaders to collaborate in projects in order to promote a discipleship culture in their ministries.
Train and equip leaders who possess the same passion to see a culture of disciple-making reproduction.
The Bible - We believe that the Bible is the written word of God written by man, inspired by the Holy Spirit. the Bible is without error and infallible in its original writing and authoritative in all matters of faith and life.
Holy Trinity - We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is only one God, who exists eternally in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The Glory of God - We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ - We believe in the supremacy of Jesus Christ as the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect and sacrificial death atoned for all the sins of all who will trust in him alone for salvation. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true Man.
Holy Spirit - We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him.
Salvation - We believe that all are man are sinners and thereby incurred physical and spiritual death; all human beings are born with a sinful nature in need of God’s saving Grace. Salvation occurs by grace alone, through faith alone.
Resurrection and Return - We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a perfect substitutionary sacrifice, and all who in repentance receive Him by faith as Savior and Lord are justified through His shed blood, being born again and thereby becoming children of God. We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.
We believe that all are sinners and totally unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy.
We believe all humans are created in God’s image and are therefore to be valued.
We believe that disciple-making disciples are God’s intended strategy to take His good news to the ends of the earth.
Eddie and Adriana met at a church they were attending in Miami on May, 2014. Nine months into dating, Eddie proposed to Adriana and they married 5 months later.
Very early into their relationship, they saw the importance of discipleship, specifically the weekly Word preached and having other trusted believers to walk alongside their relationship. Since then, by the grace of God, Eddie has been leading his family to solid doctrine and as a family have advocated the importance of discipleship in the life of a Christian.
Eddie works in Facilities Management and Adriana is a stay-at-home wife and homeschooling mom of four. They are both active members of their local church. They enjoy spending time with their family, having people over their home for a meal, and eating pizza.
CFM Discipleship was birthed out of a desire to see our communities pursue relationships like Jesus did – personal and intimate, with the goal to mature one another in the faith.
Our desire at CFM Discipleship is to see more disciples making disciples, who in turn make even more disciples. However, ultimately, what is counted as success is not the numbers of disciples being made, but the maturity in each disciple’s life.
At CFM, we believe that if discipleship and discipleship-making are key elements to the foundation of a Christian’s life, we will see a greater impact in our world for the Gospel. After all, weren’t the original disciples the ones who changed the world by using and living out what they had learned from Jesus?
Have an intimate relationship with Christ (Ephesians 3:14-19)
Worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth (John 4:22-24)
Be ready to make a defense, with gentleness and reverence, to everyone who asks for an account of their hope (1 Peter 3:15-16)
Make disciples (Acts 1:8)
Effectively share the gospel with those who don’t know Christ (Romans 10:14-15)
Be active members of their local church (Hebrews 10: 19-25)
Be active members of their communities (Jeremiah 29: 4-9)
Welcome others into their lives to encourage and challenge them as well as be proactive in being in the lives of others (Proverbs 27:17, 1 Peter 1:22, Philippians 2:4, Galatians 5:13)
Investing in the lives of a few, like Jesus did, will cause a truly impactful ripple effect. Discipleship will deeply influence our personal lives, our churches, and the world.
